I’m slightly obsessed with Autumn; I don’t know if it’s the crisp morning walks to work, wrapping up in jumpers and throwing on sleeveless jackets, or ordering a lunch time mocha instead of a smoothie. Autumn allows me to add oversized jumpers to my weekend wardrobe and a sophisticated edge to my workwear closet. (Dressing in Summer means deciding whether to sweat it out in jeans or brave bare legs in shorts and skirts.)

A classic coat or statement jacket can totally pull together an outfit, and finding the perfect colder weather counterpart can minimize your time spent fussing over a look. I’ve already invested in a new leather jacket, fur gilet, sleeveless jacket and belted duster jacket, but I’ve got my eye on a belted, wool wrap coat – particularly the light beige River Island number.
